Far Away

Though I am far away,
The image of you, shall always stay.
Thinking of you, makes me sigh,
And how I wish, you were close by.


But, even though we are far apart,
The memories, will forever remain in my heart.
If only you knew,
How hurt I was to leave you.


But, here I am, looking forward for tomorrow.
What lies ahead? I do not know.
So many sleepless nights I had,
Just the thought of you, makes me sad.


There is an emptiness I feel,
A feeling that is, oh, so real.
Though it hurts me deeply,
If this is for the best, then let it be.
