Friendship

Whispers in the wind,
Keep calling my name.
Thoughts of you, keep coming back,
I wish, things were still the same.
Why? Why did we have to part?
When love was there, from the start.
All the fun, we had together,
Couldn't beat any sunny weather.
Friendship...
What a word, full of meaning.
Full of love, that grew there.
Through the years,
The laughter, we shared,
The teardrops that had fallen,
Are just memories,
Memories...
You'd wipe my tears, 
And be there to guide me,
We'd sing a song, 
A song of love, of friendship.
We'd sit awhile,
And dream of happiness
Then, I'd close my eyes, 
And pray to God the Father,
That tomorrow, we'll be together
Forever!
